CAM offers more than a dozen stands for armature support and rotation during winding operations. They are robustly-constructed using steel weldments and cast iron support standards. Some stands have wheels for portability and others are designed for stationary support. Maximum weigh capacity ranges from 1000 lbs. (453.6 kg) up to 9,000 lbs. (4082.4 kg).

There are two methods of preventing unwanted armature rotation. Lockable Roller Brakes or Over-the- Top Clamping are standard features on some stands and can be incorporated into most stands as an optional accessory.

CAM’s motor driven armature rotation stands are designed to cover a wide range of armatures. The armature is supported on non-conductive rollers and can be used for electrical testing or armature winding. Rollers controlled by a portable footswitch are driven at one end of the stand at a slow speed.
